Rafael and Sammy dedicated their lives to helping others.  Losing them both in the same year was a devastating loss to not only our family to their communities as well.  We wish to honor their memory by helping where we can.

We have set up two small scholarships that will be awarded annually to two separate children, nominated by members of our Facebook group - 2getherEvery1AchievesMore (open to the public).  Each nominee will be reviewed and the scholarships awarded to those that best exhibit the following qualities/characteristics:

Respect for self/Respect for others

Honesty/Trustworthy

Empathy/Caring

Responsibility

Devotion to goals

Citizenship

By doing so, we hope to plant the seed of altruism, that will encourage them to continue growing into conscientious, civic minded adults that continue to pay it forward to others.
